Adaptive Adventures Vision

The message behind our journey across the country is that of resilience, tenacity, and the will power behind overcoming adversity.

Serious injury influences future activity in many different ways, physically and emotionally. It directly impacts the individual who was injured as well as the ones who love them the most.

As a team, we have firsthand experience of working through adversity together, to press on, and to believe in the greater things to come. Therefore, we are honored to partner with Adaptive Adventures, as they give this message a voice.

Adaptive Adventures is a nonprofit organization that provides progressive outdoor sports opportunities to improve quality of life for children, adults, and veterans with physical disabilities and their families. Empowering individuals through customized activities, innovative equipment and dedicated volunteers, Adaptive Adventures instills the belief that sports should be accessible to everyone, regardless of physical limitations, by providing Freedom through Mobility.

The Love, Sweat & Gears racers are reminded each time they get on their bike why they do this – for health, for adventure, and above all, for love. They are so honored to align these ideologies with Adaptive Adventures and spread this valuable awareness through their participation in the 2023 Race Across America and are encouraged by the opportunity to gain the support of their community along the way.
