Bill spent his formative years in Wayland, MA before moving to College Station, TX to complete high school and eventually attending college in the upper Midwest.

With exception to a detour to Texas for high school and college, John has spent the majority of his life in California, and most of that outdoors hiking, biking, surfing, snowboarding, rafting, camping, etc.
