I always saw myself as an outdoor person. Whether I was mountain biking, hiking or doing water sports I always enjoyed being out in the sun. My father did help with that as he was an avid mountain biker himself. I grew up in the high desert of southern California where there were plenty of trails to ride on and mountains to hike nearby. One of my favorite hikes was going to the top of Mt Whitney. One of my first jobs was working for an outdoor recreation company that helps the military and I would go do any and all events that I could get my hands on. I was primarily in charge of the bikes my store had, so I was always in the back making sure all of the bikes (street, mountain, cruiser/ beach) were ready to be used and in good working order. I eventually joined the Army and moved out to the beautiful state of Colorado where there’s a lot more outdoor activities to do and much more greenery, when it’s not covered in snow.
