Emma & Jonathan Dixon
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Jonathan and Emma came to ultra-distance cycling from a joint love of cycle touring and growing addiction for cycle randonneuring. 2011 was a pivotal year in this transition, starting with a self-supported 3 month tour in Patagonia, being the sole tandem to finish La Marmotte cyclosportive in the French Alps and culminated in completing the historic Paris-Best-Paris 1200km Grand Randonnée. After moving to California in 2012 they continued riding regular long distances and earning multiple RUSA honors such as American Randonneur Challenge, two R-12 awards and the first tandem to earn R70 honors. In 2013 they where the only tandem team to complete the Davis Gold Rush Randonnée, and completed a further two 1200km brevets in 2014, including a sub-67 hour California Central Coast (3CR). On the grueling Climb to Kaiser race they were the first tandem back. They are excited to participate in RAAM enriching the team with their multi-day ultra-long distance capabilities.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”45″][vc_column_text]
