This is not the first time Jay has participated in an ultra-endurance event with these amazing ladies. He jumped at the chance to support them during the 2021 Race Across the West, and didn’t hesitate when asked to be a part of the journey during this year’s Race Across America. Having served in the US Army for over 21 years, he has a servant’s heart and enjoys being a part of something bigger than oneself.

Jay has participated in several endurance events, whether it be the 1000 mile Ride Across Britain or 100+ mile Walk of the World in Nijmegen, Netherlands, he enjoys pushing himself and others to test themselves both physically and mentally. Always willing to accept new challenges, he looks forward to motivating and supporting the team during their journey. Jay enjoys traveling, hiking, scuba diving, cycling, and long walks with his Australian Cattle Dog – Nash.

Fun Fact: Jay got to ride in Stage 2 of the 2012 Tour de France.
